Dotify 2.3 is now available for download. Many bugs have been fixed (for a complete list, see the wiki page). The most exiting new feature is support for footnotes and endnotes. This makes it possible to have footnotes at the end of braille pages as well as at the end of volumes.
For maintainance reasons the minimum Java version is now 1.6.
Dotify 2.0 is now available for download and promises a huge improvement when it comes to enabling collaborative efforts. Its usefulness as a standalone application has also been improved. Out of the box, only Swedish braille is supported. However, it may be quite simple to add support for another locale (if you’re a developer, that is). In addition, XML-documents can be formatted as text with hyphenation support for over 50 languages.
The Easy Embossing Utility is finally available for download from Google code. This is the first publicly available version of Easy Embossing Utility and it is intended for beta testing of Braille Utils 1.2.
